Claire where active as a band between 1983 and 1990 and where based in Milton Keynes and London. The band are notable for recording a session for The John Peel Show in 1987 despite not having any published work.
The core members are Ian Wilson, Peter Devine, Ian Williams, Andy Williams. Other members included Jason Chalk, Tony Jeakins, Ian Wilkie and Chris Edwards and Ben Suttey
